Student Gold Pack: Packaging

The Brief
In this project we were given 3 packaging briefs by Student Gold Pack to choose from.With these briefs we have to either creating an innovative package that sells the product within it/motivates the purchase and use (brief 1), design a package with the objective of creating an impactful display at the point of sale. (brief 2) or design a packaging that promotes environmental awareness (brief 3). 

I chose brief 1, it inspired me most as it focuses on the usability of the package, design aesthetic and a form of sustainability.
The Brand
About
Screaturez brings sour candy lovers a treat that will have you reaching the
highest levels of sour power while making the strangest faces. It’s not for the faint
of heart, so you’d better be up for the experience!
Our blue, Tutti-Fruity flavoured sour fizz bomb aims to give you a fun and exciting
experience while meeting your needs, whether you want something to eat on the
regular, to be a bit more brave or to go straight in at the most hardcore sour and
share with your friends for a Sour challenge!
The packaging design is aimed at people aged 7+, as we understand that if
you’re a sour candy lover, that love sticks with no matter how old you get.

Logo and Colour Palette
The most eye-catching part of the packaging apart from the logo is the character.
With the way the pack is designed, you can see the product through a small
window in the front of the drawer, which makes it seem as if the product are in the
creatures mouth which creates a desire for the user to interact with the pack
.
